She now needs to be painted. She also has a WB "Stacked" humbucker. It's an UltraViolent 20 and a VintageTone. All the electronics work normally.

That's pretty slick. Did you flatten out the top or change the neck angle to make the Floyd work?

Totally custom made, so it's a different neck angle.

That guitar looks pretty cool! According to Schecter's website, those are P-100s in there, not P-90s. I'd rather have P-90s!

Actually, it was going to be 1 p/u from the beginning with jus one knob, but the guys at WB wanted to use my guitar as a showcase for their "satck" of two pick ups in one ring. It's a real unique concept, but you can have two separate pick ups in the same spot, so to highlight the point, I let them set it up with all the tone/vol controls and a selecter!

It's all 60 year old Honduran, but weighs a tons, so routing the extra cavaties gave some relief as well as the back contours. It has a '59 carve top though.

Yeah, I'm still new to using the soapbars. So far I've gotten a few really cool tones. Like jack said though it does take a bit of experimenting, especially with this amp. 8)

That Schecter looks sweet. I may have to look into one of those (along with one of those Epiphone Wilshires).

I have a Tempest that I really like. It cost the same as an Epi LP when I bought it, but it felt/sounded way better... And better still once I put some new pickups in it.

I tried one out a while back. Sounded sweet, but too loud/expensive for my bedroom warrior requirements.

Didn't Hamer try something like that back in the 1980's? I remember they had a guitar with three single coils stuffed in one mounting ring. I don't remember if the coils were stacked though.

I'm making room for the new arrivals! Finally. The two Rist guitars are coming as well as a Max Stevie D.

I sold 2 Les Pauls today and am offing my Wayne and a Jackson prototype too!

Great guitar. I just saw one at a guitar clinic featuring George Lynch. He's getting back with Dokken apparently and resisted the easy laugh when asked about Don's wig!

From what they're saying on the Gear Page forums, the best deal in the world right now is the Gibson Robot guitars...

Sam Ash is blowing them out for $999. Apparently the Les Pauls (which were the full version of the "studio" with the binding on the neck and all) are sold out...but they have the SGs and Flying Vs.

An amazing deal, considering they were $2500 a year ago...and from what people say, the mechanical tuners really work well!

Yeah.

I was amazed at how much lighter this thing was from the standard.

Picked it up at a used music shop for 800 bucks. The thing plays like a dream.

Can anybody tell me what this guitar should be worth? It's a 1983 (?) Ibanez AS-50. Strange model; I've only personally seen one other one like this before. My wife gave it to me years ago and she finally gave me the okay to sell it or trade it for another guitar (of MY choosing this time). It's very clean and has great action. It just doesn't suit me well and there are several other guitars I would rather have. (Mine doesn't have a pickguard.)

Thanks in advance.

Seriously, it's hard to find a price on those...they don't come up on ebay very often...

a quick google DID show an instance where somebody put one up for sale on a forum at $600, and it sold instantly, with lots of people then jumping in saying it was a great deal and saying they would go higher...

Another forum I post at would be the place to ask about this: http://www.thegearpage.net/board/

It's free to register, and you won't get spam from them...they also have a forum where you can sell it when you find out your price, and the people there are used to buying $$$ shit, as opposed to the usual ebayers who will use every strategy to try to undercut your sale.

Exactly why I'm asking about it here. I saw one on ebay about 2 years ago and they were asking like $2200 for it and it didn't sell (no surprise). That's been the only one I've seen on there.
