Yeah, for me Glass Houses def completes that classic run! I like most of his records at least a little. Stranger is the GOAT though.DonJuanDeMarco wrote: ↑Tue May 28, 2024 11:36 amI'm more of a Billy guy! Funny enough, his "best album" run starts right where Elton left off!!!sirthx2 wrote: ↑Tue May 28, 2024 11:27 am And how about this fucking run:
Elton John (1970)
Tumbleweed Connection (1970)
Madman Across the Water (1971)
Honky Château (1972)
Don't Shoot Me I'm Only the Piano Player (1973)
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road (1973)
Caribou (1974)
Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy (1975)
Turnstiles (1976)
The Stranger (1977)
52nd Street (1978)
What really blows my mind about the 70's is that artists and bands were putting out classic albums like this that each YEAR! Starting in the 80's, it became common to get a new record every other year or longer. That's amazing to see so many great songs in such a short period of time.

Dude - did you, like, just get ass-fucked by Patton or something? You're really off the hook here.
