Of course, I kinda remember him best from "The Thorn Birds" miniseries...

I feel terrible writing this, but somebody has must've thought, "Wow, Frankie Valli is still alive?" I mean, you could watch almost any live clip of him from the past few years and he literally looks like a wax figure or wooden puppet that doesn't move except for his jaw when he attempts to (lip synch) sing:

"You want Don Juan DeMarco, the world's greatest lover, to talk to you? What do you know of great love?"

I've never heard anyone calling Pete Best "The Fifth Beatle". That honor is reserved for George Martin, or occasionally Stu Sutcliffe

The Pope has died after meeting with J.D. Vance.

“The Pope is not only the representative of Jesus Christ, he is Jesus Christ himself, hidden under the veil of flesh.”

He was also a nightclub bouncer.

Truth.

And just shortly after our dear VP J.D. Vance came to pay him a visit, too.

I've been wondering if he's on his deathbed. If he croaks I bet Nikki will try and get somebody like Pink or Lady Gaga to sing for the Crue.

That would be as realistic as Stevie recruiting Satriani for Tuff.

He did a pretty good job producing the first four Cars albums before Mutt Lange took over on Heartbeat City.

Next one on the chopping block - Mike Peters of The Alarm. One of those mid-80s alterna UK bands that became bigger in the US than at home (see also Bauhaus and Gene Loves Jezebel). They were a 1-hit wonder for 68 Guns.

Mike had blood cancer for 30 years so he did well to make it this far.

Yeah, The Alarm had some good tunes. “Spirit of’76”, “The Stand”, and “Rain in the Summertime” are good, too. RIP, Mike…

Jill Sobule perished in a house fire yesterday. She never had another hit after that "I Kissed A Girl" song from 1995 but she was well-respected and liked among the folk singer-songwriter community. RIP

I call Keith Richards soon.
He can barely hold up a guitar, plays horribly, and looks like a hunched over little old lady with
a grand pa belly. He walks and moves really slow as well.
He's looking very Nasferatuish.

Thread hijack... but wow, could you imagine how good a Queen album produced by Mutt would be?
