I hate you. I would hate you even more if the hardware wasn't gold.
I don't really need another guitar but that would be on the short list if I did. All that binding on the neck and body is my thing. Play around with the pickups if you don't like the tone. You can dial it in, I guarantee it. You can even drop a filtertron in there if you're really addicted to that sound.

I usually don't like gold hardware, ever. Even on things like a White Falcon, I much prefer the silver on white. But this thing is fucking gorgeous. The ebony fretboard is great, too. Ebony fretboards in one of my favorite things about Gretsch.
TV Jones makes a Filtertron with higher output, and I'm definitely considering it. I'm also used to a master volume where the pup selector is. Most Gretsches have a treble bleed mixed with their master volume, and I'm too used to using that. I may have the master volume put there and the pup switch where the last knob is, since I never use them, anyway. Then it'd be perfect.

The gold hardware will eventually run off, also. I have a Les Paul with gold hardware. It’s no longer gold on the bridge.
Is it just nickel under the gold?

It's still brass-ish under there, but yeah, looks sorta shitty when it wears off.

Dummy, are you aware that hydroxy-chloroqin and Ivermectin have since been proven effective?
I think I kind of like your guitar better in silver...
But if anyone found out whose signature guit this was, i'd be mortified. $599 seems like a steal tho.
Kinda funny, because with the silver it looks like a cheap knock-off version...which is perfect for the endorser...
yeah.

It does look an interesting guitar to have around the house. My life is a bit hectic lately, but am going to look out for it in Britain, or a similar one. Am going to be a quite busy for the next few months, but the time will arrive where I can get back to normal.
No, that's not me.
The guitar is steel string and about the size of a baritone uke. It's a blast to play and sounds like a cross between a harpsichord and a mandolin. It's a well made and very inexpensive travel/couch guitar. I compared the sound of it to a handmade piccolo guitar that cost about a grand, and this one sounds much fuller and louder. It sings.
I reckon all songs are folk songs. I ain't never heard no horses singing any.

Well, it's a weird enough monstrosity as it is. Chop up a real overpriced Gibson and I would question the builder's sanity.
Fair. But the bottom would be better as a Sabo sig.
Hey has anyone tried out the Slick guitars, from Earl Slick?
Under 250 and they come with brass hardware.
Not really digging the headstock, but if they played well I could look past it.

I ordered this dude to be delivered later this week. Never played through one or heard one in person, but on paper it checks all my needs in a sometimes clean sometimes gritty amp for smallish spaces.
