Pearly Gates are great. I like them in less "thick" guitars, but I know guys who swear by them.

I'm wanting one of those PRS SE Singlecuts - any ideas on a replacement set of pickups for that? Maybe the Pearly Gates since it's not such a thick body.

As far as my ash sounding great in all positions, I will say it is a very nice piece of wood. It's just that I like my strat more.

It's completely stock Fender, they made a limited run a few years ago The flames are in fact the mahogany wood showing through, don't really have any clearer pics as my camera blows, but I will try soon.

Well, I don't really have the capability to record a drum kit (and I'm pretty sure my neighbors wouldn't appreciate it!), and some of my gear could use some upgrading, but otherwise, yeah, I'm doing pretty well.
