Q: When and where was Kiss Roxx "born", how did you came together?

A: San Antonio Texas around 1999 the idea was tossed up about wearing make-up from bass player Derek Plant and Micheal Anthony (Drummer). Ramsey Cruise was the artist behind the mask designs. The band was formed back in 1997 by Micheal Anthony & Ramsey Cruise.

Q: What's up with the band today, did you just take off the makeup or is it totally over?

A: The make up gig somewhat still stands today as a 2nd band and as extention of ROXX.

The members in KISSROXX has only 2 original members of ROXX.
KISSROXX today is still alive and currently searching for 2 new members.

Q: You started as a non makeup Tribute Band, why did you changed to costumes and makeup?

A: Actually we were never a KISS tribute, we began as a original band and had always played originals songs.

About the make-up and costumes it was just for kicks, then we took to the next level and thought some how of maybe becoming a NEW KISS with NEW SONGS and NEW COSTUMES and a NEW FACE PAINT.

Q: What was the idea behind your unique masks?

A: THE UNIQUE IDEA behind the Mask was to be ourselves and START a NEW make-up band since other bands always copied everbody else musicially, we decided to bring something old in a NEW light with a NEW SOUND and of course more musically driving.

Q: How did they people react, because you where not looking exactly like Kiss?

A: The 1st time we out performing all our own music in costumes and make-up was a blast to our fan base who had followed us for an few of years without the make-up after awhile we started attracting KISS fans and we started hearing request for KISS songs.

We stuck to our guns and refused to play any KISS, so we contiued to perform with make-up but our loyal ROXX fan base was turning into a KISS fan base, so at this time we had to keep both sides happy so we started to incorporate KISS songs into our Set-List,

We were not happy with this decision but we did it anyway!

after several shows we decided to cut off the KISS songs and annouce that we would perform 2 FULL KISS tribute shows and say GOOD-BYE to the KISS songs forever so we did.

And as far as people digging the characters they love it they actaully believe that our images were better.
