Been listening to this 1970 Frank Sinatra concept album called Water Town, about a guy in a small town whose wife leaves him for the excitement of the big city. Super good in a depressing way.

...also a friend told me about this Archie Bell and the Drells disco album, so I been checking that out. Pretty sweet stuff...it's with Gamble and Huff, the big Philly soul producrers.

I am currently listening to the " going for the one " album ( by Yes ). It is the second album Ive listened to this year, the first was " Close to the edge " an hour or so ago. These albums are soothing and great escapism when you are in the right frame of mind. I noticed parts of these albums where clearly other bands have subsequently ripped off parts of the songs ( bands such as david bowie and Rush have copied tunes and ideas from them ).
