More touring.

When the well starts running dry, a farewell tour.

No new music.

Per my comment on the Pollstar thread...GNR pulled in some amazing numbers and ranked very high on many categories...wondering if these concert attendees would buy a new album if it featured Slash and Duff?

Some artists can still manage to pull off a successful platinum-selling album, but are far and few between. Especially in hard rock.

Buy? No. Download for free and then still go to the shows to hear "Sweet Child?" Yes.

Well, they are touring at least in Europe this summer, so the tour goes on.

Apparently the guys have been recording recently (saw some pics of Slash in studio taken last week). Maybe new stuff?

You’d go to show to hear Sweet Child? That’s pretty much a beer/piss break.

I think they'll continue to tour the way they are doing now until numbers fade. Then it will be a full reunion with an appetite for destruction album tour!

I mean the general public does that. I never need to hear "Sweet Child" again. When we saw GnR last year, people all around were clearly not as into it as others until they started "Sweet Child." All the sudden all the soccer moms were on their feet. GnR have become like Aerosmith in that they're such a radio staple that people don't even know they have songs other than the radio hits.

I ve always been curious what these guys are capable of doing and would love to see a new album. Although I don't want to wait until 2023 and I wish Izzy would be part of the writing process. They probably don't have it in them..been resting on past accolades for too long already and they probably resent each other too much to buckle down in the studio. Isn't that the same when you to any major artist show? At Springsteen shows big part of the audience don't recognize lots of the songs he does, same with Madonna, same with U2.

Never got the love for Rocket Queen, for me the last three songs on AFD are obvious filler, all three are weaker than any of the 9 songs before those three. RQ is better than You're Crazy.. but that's about it.

Rocket Queen is the best track on Appetite. It's like two songs in one, I love the ending.

Rocket Queen was hands down my favorite tune when I saw the reunion tour. The extended jam/solos in the middle were pretty cool.

There are way more GNR songs that can be used for piss breaks than Sweet Child. And I don't purposely play Sweet Child anymore!

Rocket Queen is their best song fullstop. One of the best of the era! I didn't realise people disliked that song until I came to sludge!

Do they play Appetite in it's entirety? If so my piss break would be during Think About You or You're Crazy.

I take that back. TAY and YC are awesome compared to anything off of Chinese Democracy.

when they played "Chinese Democracy" 3rd song n Philly 2 yrs ago there was a bums rush to the beer stands - it was as if everyone felt their buzz waning at once then Axl greenlighted us for a quick refill.

You're Crazy is indeed the weakest song on AFD, but Think About You?? It's in my top 3 on that album. It doesn't sound like two songs in one, just one solid catchy song, and it doesn't have (unironic!) 80s pornstar type moaning in it. Those two things alone make it better than RQ.

To each his own. I hate that song so bad I couldn't listen to it back when the album was only a few months old. And yes....Anything Goes should be added in there too.

Anything Goes is still a really good song, even if it is the weakest on the album. The album is that good!

All killer, no filler.

Slash has not been resting on his laurels, in case you haven't noticed he's put out a couple of albums. Same for Duff. There was this little thing called Velvet Revolver, too. The only one not putting out anything new is Axl. Izzy has released more new music than Axl has, since leaving, and Steven...well...not going there.

Even Steven has released material after GnR. I mean, his band wrote it and he just played drums, but at least he's capable of doing that. I saw his band play a few years ago and he played great. He came out after the show and signed autographs and was really cool. I mean, two months later he was back on the sauce, but he's capable of playing on whatever GnR wants to release, even if it's just for the album.
