Saw them open for Dio on on that tour. They were fucking great. Tons of energy.

The live drop off started around 1994. Even though CTE was commercial, they still had stellar set lists & energy then. By the mid 90s they turned into paint drying on stage.

Damn, Dave's guitar is way louder in the mix than the "Lead" guitar (on the first clip) I haven't seen much live stuff from the "So Far" era, really cool to see them so young and still have that "Metal" fire and attitude.

Saw the Peace Sells tour and Dave was on fire. GSE was an excellent drummer too

Saw them twice around the SFSGSW period - Leeds Queens Hall, Christmas On Speed festival '87, and the following year in Bradford. They were fucking deadly around that time.

Megadeth opened for Dio in '88 but my friend and I were broke and couldnt get a scalper to sell us a pair for super cheap (we had something like $10 between the two of us, it was pathetic). We heard some of Megadeths set from outside the loading dock door LOL.

Ended up seeing them twice on the Rust In Peace tour and they were great. Menza was a great drummer in the early days before he got fucked up on drugs.
