Depends on whether you prefer Bon-era or Brian-era. For Bon-era, I'd go with Highway to Hell or Powerage. For Brian-era, I'd say Back in Black easily...

They had one good album with Brian. All the albums with Bon were great.

Three-way tie between High Voltage, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap and Highway to Hell.

This is the correct answer, despite it being the uncool one. This album stands up to anything the band did with Bon. Straight up all killer, no filler, overplaying be damned.

HTH and BIB are one of the great one-two album punches in rock history, and what's more amazing is that they did it with 2 different singers.

Absolutely. Highway to Hell is flawless, too. BIB just has more swagger to it. It’s bigger. Bon’s era put out way more quality shit than Brian’s, but BIB stands up to all of it, even if they never matched that again.

I'll do you one better - the run from High Voltage to BiB is one of the best six album runs in rock history.

and FATR gets a lot of shit for not being BIB but I think it's a terribly underrated record. after that, they went into the shitter.

That would be my answer also. I like the drive and guts the album has.

I think all the albums through Back in Black are pretty much money. I think it is a matter of opinion which one you like more.

If you're going to say a Bon album other than H2H, the correct answer is High Voltage.

I've always said (highway to hell) followed by (back in black) for a very close 2nd.

I like DDDDC and High Voltage, but wouldnt fault anyone for saying BIB or Highway to Hell.

Fuck Powerage. I know it's the "underrated" choice. I think it's accurately rated (by the larger world, not ACDCophiles). Ive had friends in two different (very good) /DC tribute bands and both of them insisted on playing almost all of Powerage at every show. I just do not get that album, its undoubtedly the worst Bon album by far.

Riff Raff, Down Payment Blues, Sin City, Gone Shootin', Kicked in the Teeth. These are some of the very best songs ever put out by AC/DC. I love all the first six albums, but to say this is the worst Bon album is ridiculous. Its the AC/DC album that rocks the hardest, no doubt about it.
