What's your favourite brand of Beer?
Just curious what you yankees drink. You usually like light beers and can't stand the IPAS and craft made (or whatever they're called) beers.

I don't really have one go-to brand. Whatever is strong enough at the right price. VooDoo IPA hits the spot.

Guiness for me, but when smoking weed, I have found that Amstel Light pairs well with it.

Beck non alcoholic. Stopped drinking regular beer a very long time ago.
But when I did it was always Bud Light. I seen now, drinking that will turn me trans, or get me shot by Kid Rock.

I prefer hard liquor or a great cocktail now -- but when I drink beer, it's probably Shiner Bock, Corona, or Newcastle. Not a dark beer fan, and I never liked Guinness, which a lot of people do.

Back when I lived in California: Sierra Nevada pale ale
Here in France, I tend to prefer a Lagunitas IPA or a Goudale (a Belgian-style ale)

Re: What's your favourite brand of Beer?
Goudale is great, I recently stocked up on beer in Belgium but left enough room in the car to get a few bottles at the Eurotunnel terminal. My favourite brand for everyday drinking would be Fullers, either London Pride or ESB. For my all time favourite I couldn't choose between three gueze breweries: Boon, Cantillon and 3 Fonteinen.Psychobolia.com wrote: ↑Wed Jun 07, 2023 1:33 pm Back when I lived in California: Sierra Nevada pale ale

Lawson’s Finest Liquids “Sip of Sunshine” IPA. It’s absolutely the best beer I’ve ever had. I keep trying new beers, but I’m always disappointed. NOTHING matches Sip of Sunshine. Including the variations of Sip. Original Sip in the yellow van is the greatest.

I drink vodka a normally, but if my wife and I go to dinner I might order a Blue Moon, summer Shandy or just a Michelob Ultra.
Have never liked Bud Light. There’s an after taste that is nasty (semen?)
Drank Miller Light when I was younger.
Not a fan of darker beers, but I enjoy a Newcastle now and again.

Craft beers since I work at a brewpub. Gluten shit has screwed me up though. Can get away with A beer but I usually lean ciders these days because of it. When I do get a beer it's usually a sour. I'm not above a PBR or anything though.

My go to beer is Leinenkugel Summer Shandy, best beer ever for hot summer days mowing grass or chilling on the lake. They have also now released their new Peach flavor that is pretty awesome as well.
Non-alcoholic beer was my thing for 2 full years, and I found Heineken 0.0% to be the best out of all the near-beers on the market...Becks behind that.
Local beer, made right down the road from me at Back Forty Brewery, is Nekkid Pig and Truck Stop Honey.

Yuengling is my "go to" that I stock in the fridge at home (IMO the cans or draft taste better than bottled for some reason?)
If we are out on the town, I also like Red Oak on draft.

That's a good one, but I haven't bought it in a few years. I might have to pick up a 6-pack.Psychobolia.com wrote: ↑Wed Jun 07, 2023 1:33 pm Back when I lived in California: Sierra Nevada pale ale
I tend to cycle through different beers in my fridge, but the one I probably come back to most often is Spotted Cow from New Glarus brewery in Wisconsin.

Re: What's your favourite brand of Beer?
No single particular favourite brand, but I love Belgian strong ales. Gold, not dark. My experience with them is limited, since they are scarce in my neck of the woods, but I really like Chimay White, Delirium Tremens, Averbode, and a *really* niche one (first one I ever tried) called Draconis, from a small brewery in Pisa.

I gave up drinking almost 6 years ago, so if I were to reach for one today, it’d probably be a Heineken.
Re: What's your favourite brand of Beer?
Have you had Heady Topper from Alchemist or Boom Sauce from Lord Hobo? If not, you should try tracking them down as you may like them.MisterSinister wrote: ↑Wed Jun 07, 2023 4:23 pm Lawson’s Finest Liquids “Sip of Sunshine” IPA. As I've aged, beer gives me a headache & heartburn & makes me feel like sh!t the next day. It saddens me, cuz I loved it & breweries are everywhere. No way I can hang with anything high alcohol %, IPA or any US domestic. For the most part, I'm all Italian reds & New Zealand whites. If I do order a beer, it's Heineken or Stella or Pilsner Urquel.
