Nope. As the pro musician who posted this said, Ace is a half step up for his whole part of it. It sounds like total ballsack when the other guitarist comes in because he's in the correct key. Ace gets to the A power chord afterwards and he's fine, disproving it's an out of tune guitar.

If the bass and guitarist both noticed ace was playing a half step up and wasn’t gonna correct, the thing to do would be to follow him here. Since the part resolves at the end with a big A power chord, they woulda been ok, Ace wouldn’t have changed that.

I do get that the guys were prolly “we’ll play it right, hopefully he will transpose down”, can’t fault them for that.
