Power Trip is it. Seems likely for 2024 summer.

I love that Maiden stuck around long enough to be one of Live Nations cash cows. They can always call Smallwood when they need someone to put asses in the sheds.

Maiden sucks, they sold out after the Soundhouse Tapes.
Re: Maiden in America 2023?
Future Past Tour is what I think they're calling it.
So far three Canada dates before the Power Trip show (Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver) and none in the States.
I would think that if they were going to do more dates in 2023 they would've already gone on sale.

Crazy how there's no demand for a BNW/Dance of Death/AMOLAD/Final Frontier nostalgia tour.
They kept saying that their new stuff was some of the best they've ever done.

2010 tour was advertised as mostly that stuff and I don’t doubt they’ll do another one at some point.HueyRamone wrote: ↑Tue Sep 05, 2023 2:57 pm Crazy how there's no demand for a BNW/Dance of Death/AMOLAD/Final Frontier nostalgia tour.

Personally I think everything after DOD is dull as dishwater with the exception of only one or two songs per album, but there are entire generations out there who got into them after 2000. Way younger crowd at Maiden shows than just about any other dinosaur rock or metal band you could name.

Expect the 2024 Future Past North American tour to be announced in the days following the Power Trip festival.

The event shirts should have Eddie flogging a dead horse.
Re: Maiden in America 2023?
If not for PowerTrip it would have been over at Wacken. I guess they decided to get the hinterland venues out of the way and for whatever they were getting paid for Power Trip wasn't worth it for one show (there was a hold date for now, now they have removed full seating sections off the map).

They sold out when they got rid of Dennis Wilcock and started dressing like the Ramones....Psychobolia.com wrote: ↑Tue Sep 05, 2023 2:54 pm Maiden sucks, they sold out after the Soundhouse Tapes.

I had to look that up, you're right. So on top of recycling their own riffs, they have to steal Duran Duran's latest album title for their latest tour, pathetic!

Other way around. Maiden announced their tour with that branding well before DD did.Psychobolia.com wrote: ↑Tue Sep 05, 2023 11:26 pmI had to look that up, you're right. So on top of recycling their own riffs, they have to steal Duran Duran's latest album title for their latest tour, pathetic!

Re: Maiden in America 2023?
Yes, there are generations who got into to them after the 2000s,but not based on those post 2000s albums. All those new fans are based on the 80s albums as well. I think there is literally no one who will say those 2000s albums are better than the 80s albums.... I actually think close to no one ever listens to those albums.BernieTaupson wrote: ↑Tue Sep 05, 2023 5:04 pm2010 tour was advertised as mostly that stuff and I don’t doubt they’ll do another one at some point.HueyRamone wrote: ↑Tue Sep 05, 2023 2:57 pm Crazy how there's no demand for a BNW/Dance of Death/AMOLAD/Final Frontier nostalgia tour.
