How was sound? With no visible fly rigs I assume its built in the dome? Was there solid bass and clarity? Hard to tell in all the online vids.Mister Freeze wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 8:58 am It was the best concert I've ever seen. Reports are sound is complete disaster. If you want quality sound Coyote Ugly still the best at New York New York
Jani Lane and Bret Michaels should form a band called "Nelson II"

Sound was good, but I didn't notice it being unusually good. I'm getting the impression the "great sound" is more noticeable in the upper levels where it might typically get lost in the acoustics.

Looks awesome.
I will never be okay with the sight of a band onstage without amps behind them, but cest la vie

Well…you are going to a rock show to watch a huge, huge video screen with a very small band in the distance. Something very wrong here, I only go to shows to see a band actually perform.

Sure, its a true spectacle but I can't help but think its sad that people can not just focus on the music anymore, they overload.
Of course the band is banking, but who is the bigger draw:
The huge screen or the band?

There are a hundred other venues people can focus on "the music" with 10 people in the crowd since nobody goes out anymore anyway. Acoustic Trixter is still touring at small bars. The Sphere cost $2.3 BILLION and EVERYTHING there will be a spectacle and a sensory overload -- in addition to "the music". There's no other way to do it in Las Vegas.

Going to Dead & Co at the Sphere this summer. They totally focus on the proper sound and visuals. What will be interesting is how they will fit the entire band on that little stage - 2 drummers, keyboards, etc.

“ I only go to shows to see a band actually perform”- dummy grunge generation
Yea go The Sphere show and don’t give The Sphere type show- that’s the Pearl Jam residency plan
Can’t wait until Hysteria Leppard does multiple nights
Rammstein at The Sphere that’s the wet dream
Acoustic Trixter doing Road Of A Thousand Dreams f*cking awesome
