Not trying to be a dick, but I'm just about done the book from a few years ago...Nothin but a Good Time. Seem it might be the definitive book on the 80's scene. Tons of stuff in there I didn't know. And is written in a very unique way.

Not sure I'd need to read another. Curious if you had a chance to read that, and how your book would be different.

Regardless, good luck with your book, I'm sure it was a huge effort.

Thanks I appreciate it. I never read that one, so tough to say. I know it’s not the most comprehensive book on Hair Metal. It focuses more on the lesser known bands vs. the giants. My own personal stories from growing up in the 80’s (being a little Hair Metal maniac) are in their too. A lot of it’s taken from interviews I did with rock artists over the last 4 years. So since it’s my story, plus stories from people in bands I personally interviewed, I would have to think it would be different than all the other books on the genre.
