I did for awhile…then I got tired of it and would rather hear the original live again. I believe Vince still plays the original arrangement at his shows.

Hell no. Sounds like nine inch nails meets marylin manson. Still love the original though.

Yes... the same people that think the Van Halen record with Gary Cherone was good and call Skid Row's "Subhuman Race" their favorite of the SR catalog.

What about Home Sweet Home '91? At least that was a hit.

Typical answer from you...
Let me answer for you... and I will be honest for you.
"No, it's lame... the original is the best, this other version sucks Donkey balls!"
You're welcome.

Erm...no. I definitely prefer the '97 version. Mötley obviously does as well, for whatever that's worth.MetalSludgeCEO wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2023 9:02 amTypical answer from you...

The original is overrated, if anything.

First time I heard it as on the AMA show. I remember thinking something was wrong with my TV.
What I dislike the most about it is that it doesn't sound tight like the original. It's not a metal anthem anymore.

Getting more yes votes than I expected! Which seems to have irked the CEO.

That’s some “Get off my lawn” shit Stevie. Slang is my favorite Def Leppard album. Some people may even like Religious Fix better than the classic WCAGO.MetalSludgeCEO wrote: ↑Sun Oct 15, 2023 6:53 pm Yes... the same people that think the Van Halen record with Gary Cherone was good and call Skid Row's "Subhuman Race" their favorite of the SR catalog.

Saying you like this version better is like saying you like getting Mud on your Helmet when you back-door your old lady...

When played "live", is it the same backing tracks or do they have different ones?
Re: Does anyone actually prefer Shout at the Devil 97 more than the original?
83's is way better.

I really like Generation Swine and Vince's Carved in Stone. I am not a fan of MC94 though.Vince Neil Eats wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2023 2:55 pmThat’s some “Get off my lawn” shit Stevie. Weird that anyone would like the 97 version. The riff sucks, the balls are gone, and it sounded trendy for trendy's sake.

I apologize for having a different opinion than you. If you could give me a quick list of things you like and dislike, I'll do my best to fall in line better in the future.
Or maybe you just aren't as comfortable with your own opinions?
