I don't know what you are hearing but he sounds like shit and autotune. It's not a performance to be proud of. Sadly, the reason he's still on the show, is because there are worse singers than him and they get kicked off. The show isn't known for great vocal performances so there's no reason to believe they're not singing live. That's the point of the show. It's not American Idol. And who gives a fuck anyway. If that was a studio track, then he's in even worse vocal shape than we know.

TUFF has 2 of the 4 classic members, which is 50%, and a bigger percentage than the bands who have say, 1/5 (20%) or 1/4 (25%) or 2/5 (40%) and so on.
