Would love to see Oliver Stone do a movie similiar to JFK where someone who's kid died in a mass shooting and sues the gun manufactures. Of course they'll lose, however the movie will focus on the discovery, the facts, the mental health crisis, the 2nd amendment, founder fathers intention, the $$$, the politicians, etc...and open discussion, especially among younger folks are just as fed up as seeing their friends slaughtered.

No permit is required to buy a handgun in Maine, but there are some requirements to watch out for.

Be 18 or older;
Present state ID;
Have a background check performed by a licensed firearms dealer; and
Sign an acknowledgement that you received a basic firearms safety brochure.

Signing the acknowledgement may not seem important, but it’s still the law so you’ll want to make sure you follow it to the letter! You have to sign the acknowledgement in the presence of the firearms dealer that you buy it front, and keep it afterwards.

But Wait…
While the state only requires you to be 18 or older to buy a handgun, federal law requires you to be 21 or older to buy a handgun. So what does that mean? Basically, you can only buy a handgun from a private seller after you reach the age of 18 or 21 (depending on what gun you want to buy), since your local gun store is a licensed firearms dealer, and is subject to federal law.

The upside to buying a handgun through a private sale is that you can avoid the background check and the acknowledgement! But it’s always a good idea to be aware of firearms safety no matter what!

Something tells me he is already dead somewhere out in the woods. These hillbilly cops are hours and hours and miles late on his trail.

I saw one reporter say he was in some small town that he was thought to be in, and there were only 17 cops on their entire Police force. By the time any real cops or backup arrived, homie was gone in the wind.

He did this horrible deed, then ran and after gathering his senses realized in time he will be caught and spend the next 3-4 decades in prison. So he put the gun in his mouth and took himself out.

Kinda like that punk Brian Laundrie in Florida who killed his GF (Gabby Petito), then told his parents he was going camping.... only to be found much later.
