There were so many great ones from the late 80’s and early 90’s. MTV awards shows, New Years Eve, Late night ones with Arsenio, Rick Dee’s, Letterman etc.

Do you remember L.A. Guns and Slaughter being Arsenio?

I personally think Arsenio was the gold standard for late night performances.

For whatever reason, the Mötley performance on Raw and Sunday Night Heat has to be one of their best performances ever. Vince even sang most of the words to Wild Side which he didn't really do with songs unless it happened on the tour for the album the song was from.

Yeah he doesn't get nearly enough respect for that - he let ANYONE play. A lot of rock/RnB acts that got passed over by the networks got some run on his show.
