This has that same cut & paste autotune thing going on that the entire 2020 album had. Is he doing vocal takes word by word now? It just sounds weird.

And this is at least the 3rd song to use the line "the sky shines a different kind of blue". First time was on It's Hard Letting You Go. Second time was in the solo song Ugly.

We know he's had an inferiority complex re: Springsteen forever, now it appears he secretly desires to be Sting as well. However, "the sky shines a different kind of blue" is no "it's a big enough umbrella but it's always me that ends up getting wet".
