I'm a Brian Setzer/Stray Cats nutt-swinger (however not really into the Orchestra stuff).
Anyway, IMO his new album "The Devil Always Collects" is easily one of his all time best. Little more Pop/Rock influence than the straight up Rockabilly he has been doing, and a lot more energy than the underwhelming/lethargic Stray Cats reunion album "40".

Re: Brian Setzer - The Devil Always Collects (New Album)
I listened this morning during my workout. This is good shit. Like OP says, it's not as Rockabilly as his usual fare, and that's kind of refreshing. Brian, along with the other Brian (May), still has the greatest guitar tone in the business. To me, that's exactly what a non-distorted guitar should sound like.
