Julian Gill banned me from KISSFAQ after I created "The Official Convince Yourself It Was Good" thread about the finale show.

It must have hit close to home, because I've posted a lot worse on there.

It's fun to make fun of all those clowns who paid through the teeth to be at the final show, while "KISS" themselves barely gave a fuck because it was the same show they've been doing everywhere else and they couldn't be bothered to do one little thing to make it special.

At the time Julian Shill was playing it down saying it was just a bit of “sonic lube” to allow the concerts to happen.

Well it’s been less than a week and tide is already turning and a bunch of them are posting saying they’re warming up to the PlayStation graphic version of KISS.

Guarantee it - give it a few months and just about all of them will be putting a bit of “sonic lube” on their buttholes to take Gene’s flaming avatar demon dick!

The Paul singing thing never really bothered me.

1) Because I'd never deny someone the right to make a boatload of money. If I was in Pauls shoes I'd much rather sock away cash for my kids and grandkids than worry about "integrity of being an artist"

2) He is singing, the audience just isn't hearing his voice (thankfully). So he's not just mouthing the words to a studio record and strumming an unplugged guitar.

3) The rest of the show is live. It's not like a taping of Solid Gold.

I get that its not ideal and I understand why some wouldn't want to partake, but on my 3 EOTR shows the only time I thought about it was in between songs when I wish he had a vocal smoothing pedal for his on stage banter.

I've been to around 50 KISS shows since Creatures and Paul's lip-syncing on the EOTR made zero difference to me compared to the other previous 47 shows.

Honestly, I'm positive I wouldn't have even been aware if I just went to the shows with out the prior knowledge.

I saw the ABBAtars (well, on tv) and those looked somewhat real.
You could make yourself believe to a certain extent they were real persons.

These KISStards look just like a cartoon to me. I don't really see the 3D effect and they don't even look like KISS, old or new.
