My top 6 are as follows. I've seen them open like 5 times and headline 3 or more. Always great.

Just insane. I like Sheryl Crow as much as anybody, probably more, but meanwhile Tool started a few years before her and to my knowledge haven’t even been nominated, yet they can’t seem to find an arena they haven’t been able to sell out in the last 20+ years.

As for touring, Cheap Trick probably has the easiest gig. Show up early, play the hits, and in bed by 9. And above all, idolized by those who their opening for.

I think I got confused because she’s an actual RRHOF inductee who is touring as an opening act (next summer she opens for Pink) and I saw her, Cheap Trick, and Joan Jett next on the list who are also, but didn’t notice the next two who obviously aren’t. Oops ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Informal HOF for opening acts? My winners are The Black Crowes and the reformed AIC. Honorable mention to the reformed Pantera for killing it opening for Metallica on this tour. The Pretenders will likely be added to the list after I see them open for Foo Fighters next summer.

Instead of a multi-million dollar I.M. Pei designed building, the OAHOF will be housed in a place that looks like a funky garage or warehouse with mattresses, egg cartons and cheesy posters on the walls, along with a very sticky floor. Audience seating will be on milk crates and road cases.SterileEyes1 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 23, 2023 8:52 am My winners are The Black Crowes and the reformed AIC. It will be located next to a 24 hour convenience store that sells burritos, cigarettes and alcohol.
