Your "change the station" songs

Post by BDG135 »

What song, or songs, make you change the station or skip the track?

Some of mine:

Bad To The Bone
Zeppelin's Black Dog
Not everybody is on MetalShit.com and Blabberface fuckin’ dot net! Who cares? There’s such a small amount of people that do that. - Blotz

It used to be Hotel California, but I've avoided it long enough that I'm coming back around to it again.

My phone wouldn't hook up Spotify to the car for whatever reason so put on the local radio stations... WFMU was playing some sockhop shit so I turned on the classic rock station. Steppenwolf's Magic Carpet Ride... so I turned it off. So I'm adding that to the mix!

I never listen to anything that's not on my own playlists anymore, but if I was listening to the radio, probably anything by Bon Jovi.

Even Flow/Alive - Pearl Jam - Why were these songs selected to be on radio and or classic radio for years and years on end? Absolutely ridiculous.
No Rain - Blind Melon - One hit wonder junk three decades later.

Billy Joel - Piano Man
Journey - Don’t Stop Believin’
Bon Jovi - Livin’ On a Prayer
Toto - Africa

Anything by Barenaked Ladies, Smashmouth, Matchbox 20, The Spin Doctors, etc….

…and some goddamn Britney Spears song (I think) that I don’t know the name of…

You guys are mentioning some of the best songs in rock n roll history. I know they are overplayed but we need these songs just like we need milk, bread, eggs and butter.

As for me…. Pink Floyd. I can do the “we don’t need no education” song but anything else gets shut off.
