My "Sweet Child..." influenced song.
I always thought this tune sounded a bit like a cross between GNR and the Smiths.

Intro is a cross between Sweet Child Of Mine and buffalo farts.
Love the totally out of key solo.

I'm glad you think so. It's really difficult to reproduce the sound of Buffalo farts live.BernieTaupson wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2023 6:27 pm Intro is a cross between Sweet Child Of Mine and buffalo farts.

That solo doesn't go out of key. But I get it, it's all part of the "Grrr, I hate you..."
You're doing fine work.

It’s absolutely out of key.
Or, the bass player is out of key; depending on how you look at it.
The two instruments are playing in a discordant fashion.

Re: My "Sweet Child..." influenced song.
I'm going to disagree with you on this one. There may be some intonation issues that may be heard during the lead guitar parts, or maybe a FX pedal not dialed in correctly, but I'm not hearing anything that's screams "out of tune". But what do I know? I post songs on sludge instead of selling records.BernieTaupson wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2023 8:21 pm It’s absolutely out of key.

notes leading in to the solo and the first several notes of the solo are out of tune.
Song would be better if the guitar was taken out - play up the joy division vibe (unknown pleasures album style)

Can't you hear it's jazz man? Allan Holdsworth doesn't hold a candle to this.BernieTaupson wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2023 8:21 pm It’s absolutely out of key.

You're funny. I noticed that when posting music, confident and chill people offer good Insight or opinions. People who feel bad about themselves default to insults.
Which personality type do you think is cooler to hang out with?

It also seems all the reviews are pretty bad, wonder if that has to do with your charming reputation?

It's a bunch of political wackos that hate anyone that doesn't buy into the narratives. So even though this has nothing to do with that, sludgers post over on the link about politics. I'm used to it. But besides that I think I have a reputation for being pretty prolific. And every now and then I reach the right person and it's coolPBFSUCKS wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 8:06 pmYou seem super fun and chill to hang out with. lol, I’ll guess I’ll stick with opposite!Don't Damn Me wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 5:36 pmYou're funny. But, the singer sucks and that lead guitar is DEFINITELY out of tune.
I'm getting a slight Talking Heads vibe here though.
