GNR "You Could Be Mine" & Arcade "Dancin' With The Angels "

I was listening to GNR recently and remembered a similarity between these 2 songs at the beginning of each
and wondered what you Sludgers would say ,
And I thought I might as well make a poll too ,
Does anyone like the Arcade song better ?
Or maybe you guys are tired enough of hearing a GNR hit that you wouldn't pick that ?

I like then both......the intro to Arcade - "Dancin With The Angels" reminds me of the intro to Aerosmith "Let the Music Do the Talkin" (IMO one their best and underrated songs).

I heard of Arcade before but never heard them. For some reason I assumed they were a wussy keyboard 'rock' band. I was wrong and I like what I heard.

Never listened to an arcade song before but that was pretty good. Still prefer the Guns n' roses song though.

This isn’t even a fair comparison. YCBM is one of the world’s worst songs. Just awful. A perfect lead single for UYI, actually… establishing epic suckage right from the jump.

Like both, but went with Arcade. YCBM was the first sign that the Appetite edge was gone. Felt a little paint-by-numbers

Yeah. Arcade song is good. YCBM is a great (but overplayed) tune. GnR wins this easily.

G'n'R for me. That Arcade track is okay, but I prefer "Nothin' to Lose" and "Cry No More".
