MÖTLEY CRÜE guitarist Mick Mars has released "Undone", the third single from his upcoming solo album, "The Other Side Of Mars".

"The Other Side Of Mars" will be released on February 23, 2024. The effort will be made available via Mick's own label 1313, LLC, in partnership with MRI.

I like Mars but this sounds Undone. I think everyone expectations were an in-your-face rock album and we get this overproduced masterpiece.
He should have released whatever he had when he was working with Corabi. Apparently there were some issues with whoever Mick was working with but why not take the tracks and move on?

This is like the least Mick Mars sounding thing ever. He must have changed his mind about the overall direction because the teasers with Corabi sounded nothing like this.. just weird that he would go for
this generic, safe and overproduced sound.

Mick didn’t write any of this… they opened a generic modern rock template in protools and said “Mick, riff in D for four bars” here and there

This whole project has been a disaster, whoever is responsible should be fired. It’s obviously not Mick.
Like a previous post said….maybe it really was Nikki coming up with those Motley riffs. These tunes from Mick are garbage and forgettable. How does he can the Corabi tracks and release this slop?? Horrible management

I find it hard to believe that after listening to any of these tracks mick played a single thing on any of them. It seems like some “manager” attached micks name to them to see if people cared after finding the earlier stuff not as appealing. He would NEVER go out and play these live.
