I say this without a hint of irony... the guitar sounds great on this.

Finally she grew her hair! She didnt suit short hair at all. I enjoyed watching that. He is an interesting guitarist. The song was drawn out way too long though.

Sure she is.

You remind me of all the guys saying Paul Stanley was singing live in 2019.

Yeah, I'm confused what the OP heard outside of the answer vocal parts in the intro. The rest is live. People are dumb.

Go to 3:45 and hear her vocal play when the mic is nowhere near her mouth for a start.

Look, anyone who has ever been in a band for five minutes or has any fucking brains about how microphones work can just TELL if something is lipsynched or not.

For a start you can tell if it’s a live vocal just by the sound of it. The sound should be dipping in and out as she’s moving the mic around where the sound is coming out. There’s none of that.

Anyway, I’m out. I had the same fucking discussion with a bunch of KISS mouthbreathers five years ago who called me names for saying Paul’s vocals weren’t legit either. Who was proved right? Me.

Believe what you want to believe.

Not tying to argue. I really don't see it. And to your point, the last time I was around any kind of microphone or stage, was when I had to get my 5 year old in a peter pan play cause she pee'd her pants on stage.

Watched at 3;45 and I guess I can see it, but will defer to you since I really don't know. Since it is from a tv show, they might insist artists lip-sync.

It's Austin City Limits.

The whole premise of the show is that it's live performance.

Obviously it's at the very least mostly live. I think the 3:45 is just part of a wet signal. Lot of reverb + compression = sustain.

She's live. And at 3:45 her mic is right under her mouth very close to her chin. How is that "nowhere near her mouth"? You sure you didn't mean some other point in the performance?

I will say this, for a 4 piece, Neil can fill space like no other. Not sure if he copied Brian Setzer first or vice versa, riffs, rhythm and solo’s for days. The guy is an outstanding guitarist.

Bernie is right that there is some kind of sync issue, but it's not lip syncing.

The audio is not properly sync'd to the video. It's a tiny bit off. So it looks like she's lip syncing because the words aren't matching her mouth.

Look at Spyders picking hand. The audio isn't matching up to when he's hitting the strings. I know he's good, but he's not THAT good.

Austin City Limits is a TV Program so they've probably hit it with a vocal rider, removed audible breaths, etc. This is fully mixed and mastered audio.
