Yup. Since he and Springfield went into the rum biz together, I've always put them in the same "young-old" category. Sammy is 2-3 years Rick's senior, but they both are hitting that wall now. It looks like he's dropped a few lbs. My mom is 84 and looks to me like she's shrinking each time I see her.

I ran into him in Vegas last year. This is basically what he looks like now, but much better in person. Sounds the same, acts the same. I also noticed how lean he was. This was during summer and he was wearing shorts and a t-shirt.

I'm onboard with the tequila-only diet.

It was from 9 months ago and he was 75 at the time ( not sure if he is 76 now). But I think that is a bad picture. In the interview he definitely doesn’t look 75.

I’ve noticed throughout the last decade or so that he always looks sort of healthy-enough but never appears like Mick or one of those super-obsessed people who works out four hours every day or something. Seems to make just enough of an effort while still being able to enjoy his life.

Sammy actually held it together for quite some time.... but, yeah, he has started to look really rough lately... age is a bitch

Still, as annoying as that fucker can be, he sure has been one of the big winners in the rock star game: his tequila investments were smart and wise. He's loaded. Nice looking wife. Amazing lifestyle.
