This one went under the radar. For Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Cappella, The String Revolution Featuring Tommy Emmanuel won for “Folsom Prison Blues.”

TSR is a trio of acoustic guitarists, one of whom is Janet Robin, who in the 80s had an all-girl band called Precious Metal. They weren't glam on the level of Vixen but they weren't in the Metallica vein, either. I saw them once and they were a lot heavier live than on record. They released 3 records before giving up in 1991. Janet went solo and gun for hire, including a stint with Lindsey Buckingham's 5 guitar tour in the 90s. Janet also has the distinction of being the only female student of Randy Rhodes during his teaching days.

She was a bit of a spaz during the acceptance speech but I can't fault her. She done good.
