Never heard a note of their music.

Went to Spotify to check out the most streamed song off this album, which was Enemy in Me..which I assumed was gonna be a ballad

and......

It rocked and was totally awesome. Don't know what I was expecting, but it was not that. Gonna definitely load this whole album up at the gym tomorrow. Have no idea why I never checked them out before

Good try 5/10 . I give Queensryche 4/10. I give Tesla 3/10. I give Cheap Trick 2/10
Shows good reason to go out. Option is always never stay home

Wanted to like them as much as Revlon Red but didn’t happen

The idea of Tuff singer taking a gamble on a band to take over the world 9/10
Jani Lane and Bret Michaels should form a band called "Nelson II"

I liked the record but they were even better live. Only got to see them live once with Dirty Penny in Appleton.

I did a Google search for Jesse Forte, and it looks like he became a black man, a published author, and astronaut in training.

Good for him! That's a big step up from VOJ.

I think I prefer Lit Up/Let Down over this one.

I feel like they’re very similar to Brides of Destruction!

Better off Alone & Get It On are my favs off of it tho

I have never heard of these ( I am UK ). That first track sounds really good. I will have a listen to this over the weekend, thank you. Have got work today or would listen to it. We are ALL but slaves to the one with horns.

It wasn't a dig. Just an observation. It seems written by someone that had a lot of knowledge of the inter workings of the band. Your name is mentioned several times and used with wording such as, "Rachelle offered"," Rachelle booked", "Rachelle pushed Dall to add", "Rachelle pressured Dall".

Well, know this... if I had written it, I would have ZERO problem admitting it.

After all, it's all 100% accurate and true... I think, lol. I haven't looked at it in depth in a long time.

Finally got a chance to give it a full listen. Sounds like Stone Temple Pilots and Faster Pussycat were in a car wreck, and this is what came out. Mind Pollution has almost the same riff as STP's Big bang baby. And that is the best song, along with Enemy in me.

Rest of it is really good. Has that 80's feel but without trying to be too 80's (If that makes any sense).

Still not sure why I never gave them a chance, cause the early 2000's were a pretty weak time for bands like this, and I would have been all over them.

Already added a bunch of these tunes to my playlists, and definitely gonna check out the rest of their catalogue.

"""""""""""""""""Rest of it is really good. Has that 80's feel but without trying to be too 80's (If that makes any sense).""""""""""""""""""

This... it was more "real" and wasn't forced... they were born in 1981, 1983 & 1986... but had an 80's sound... kind of weird.

""""""""""""""""Still not sure why I never gave them a chance"""""""""""""""""""""

Many blew it off simply because of either A. I was involved, or B. their look.

Everyone just assumed, Poison / Crue, etc... and the band is neither of those things.

Def. WAY MORE Gn'R, Hanoi Rocks, and some modern elements, like you noted... the band turned a lot of heads... for what it's worth.

When it first came out I was 21 or 22...I remember not liking this album, but really liking either an EP or something like that, which might have been released earlier. Hard to Be Vain was the track I loved, but just wasn't into this album.

I’m sorry…I did like this album. It was the debut that I wasn’t thrilled about. I thought this was a big improvement over the debut.

I saw them open for Sebastian Bach with Lizzy, and then my band opened for them at the Whisky with Jesse. They were great both times and I enjoyed both of the albums that I had, though I think they may have had three. Also pleasant enough guys to talk to.

Brilliant record, I loved it. I don't think any of the European bands at that time came close to that (ok, maybe backyard babies)
Getting a new singer destroyed them, that was just silly

I agree with all...

Except... the band didn't choose to get a new singer... Lizzy opted to leave... it was messy... involved a girl, to be wife, getting married, etc... Ugh.

Plus, the band was starting to have all the typical drama... after being a band for 5+ years, singer & guitarist fighting, complaining about "Why aren't we this or that?" and more.

They had a ton happen, in a very short time, got super spoiled, and it was a challenge to say the least, to deal with 4 guys in their early 20's from another country.

With that... it was an awesome time... even though I wanted to murder them for much of it! Lol

Lizzy and I have been on great terms, for many years and put all behind us. Haven't seen the other 3 in over a decade and 2 of them (Nicki & Jp), finally came around after a long time... sort of apologizing for certain things, etc... oh well.

Nicki and Lizzy are both Fathers now... Lizzy and Jp are both over 40... and the other 2 are in their late 30's... life happens, just like that.

When I met them, 2 of them just finished HS and had just turned 19, Jp was 21 and Lizzy was the old man at 23. And I, was 39! #wtf

I recall that Bach show... of course I didn't go... lol... and I don't think I was even in town... it was South of LA County... Riverside ish? At a Casino?

Glad you dug them... Lizzy's new band The Cruel Intentions, are equally bad ass!

Their records are awesome and knowing what I know... I bet live they kill!
