Ha. I would like the answer to this question as well.

The Swift video he posted was mesmerizing to watch. No idea if it's good dancing though.

Just a guess but I'll bet his dancing is like his singing. Technically not great, but his innate Daveness keeps him from looking like Elaine from Seinfeld. As a singer, he's a great front man and as a dancer, he's a great court jester.

However good/bad he is, the bros. were way worse - apparently that sequence above took a lot of time and effort to put together. Eddie looks the most out of step.

IIRC, the VH-1 Pop-Up Video for “Hot For Teacher” said that
Ed was the worst dancer of the four in that scene.

This. I like my memory of Dave dancing to be the 1984 videos and the Just a Gigolo video.
