Who quit their band and fans said thank God in unison? Could be for any reason.
Jeff Loomis bailing on Arch Enemy was met with overwhelming approval by fans who felt he was wasting his talent in that band.
On the flipside, Anette Olzon's departure from Nightwish was also met with massive approval, because fans didn't like her, and she didn't exactly endear herself to them, either.
Not mentioning Bayley, Owens, and Corbi because that's too easy and a gimmie,

Also Gary Cherone from VH. Of course, fans expected the reunion with Roth to happen before 2007.
Bruce Kulick and Eric Singer, because that meant the Kiss reunion.
Jean-Michel Byron from Toto, he was pushed on the band by the record company and the fans hated him so much he was more or less edited out from a concert video from the tour where he was lead vocalist

Bekka Bramlett. And she wasn’t even the worst thing about that lineup, it was Dave Mason from Traffic.HueyRamone wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2024 1:45 pm Im sure the chick singer of Fleetwood Mac in the mid 90ss...

I felt happy for Gary when that was over! I'm sure it was fun at first but it must've been miserable. It was so obvious that the fans were unhappy with the VH3 album and that version of the band.Love_Industry wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2024 1:08 pm Also Gary Cherone from VH. Then, the Sammy reunion tour was a catastrophe thanks to Eddie being drunk all the time. This (very poor quality) clip sums it up!

So I guess I felt happy for Sammy when THAT was over!

Sorry, my memory is getting cloudy! I mixed that up with the guitar smashing video from the last night of the 2004 tour with Sammy!!! Not great times in the mighty Van Halen's history.HueyRamone wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2024 11:03 amBut that's with Roth and Fatboy on bass, whats that got to do w Sammy?DonJuanDeMarco wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2024 10:24 am

Fans were pretty happy when Solinger got the boot from Skid Row.
It turned out to not be a good thing. Johnny was cool - Harnell and ZP was fucking lame.
