Who Doesn't Regret Not Quitting Their Band?

Post by cowpins »

Stevie Rachelle. When TUFF fell apart (who he wasn't even an original member off), he could have dissapeared like so many of is peers, however along with working on other projects he kept the brand alive, even though the lean years, and now he's paid to go on vacations, cruses, etc....

Ginger. He's just launching yet another new version of the Wildhearts, this time with an entirely new backing band rather than the previous "change 1 person at a time".

Jannick Gers?

Gets a killer paycheck, 1st class travel/hotels, while Adrian and Dave do the heavy lifting. Contributes a few guitar riffs every few years or so after an extended vacation...

Gers contributes a hell of a lot more on songwriting than Dave Murray does.

Eddie Jackson of Queensryche? Dude barely sniffed a writing credit when DeGarmo & Tate were in the band. Now, on the Toddryche records, he has several, including a few tracks penned specifically by Jackson & Jackson alone!

Can you really quit something when you're the only one left?

In retrospect, I'm guessing Adam Clayton & Larry Mullen Jr are glad they didn't bail on U2 during the making of Achtung Baby

Since Todd joined the band, these are the songs that Eddie Jackson wrote:

"Eye9" is good.

"Light-years" is good and contains a strong chorus.

"Propaganda Fashion" is good. Another catchy chorus.

"Nocturnal Light" is good, with another strong chorus.

"Realms" is good, with a good sing-along chorus.

Eddie Jackson co-writes:

"Queensryche" - 3

"Condition Human" - 3

"The Verdict" - 4

"Digital Noise Alliance" - 5

After "Empire", too much Chris and not enough everyone else.
