Will never be criminally charged... and prolly only has to pay back the same amount he got caught stealing.

Chalk one up for the bad guys!

Huey, but he's rich, white and won superbowls. Besides, some of those poor people he robbed probably lived in the ghetto.

Favre is the lowest of the low. Pond scum. Animal is too good a word. I don't think Huey is offended. Just pointing out an obvious double standard...

Favre is a great QB, not put here to do good or right. He wanted stuff for his daughter. In and of itself, something most of us would do for our kids.

Other side of the equation is the scumbag politician who took the money. He is supposed to be good and had no such familial interest. Just wanted the money.

If anyone had power in this instance its the elected officials, who could stopped all of this right in its tracks, before anything happened

Really? When did "great QBs" become exempt from morality? I'm not not even a millionaire like Brett Favre and wouldn't consider being a piece of shit thief to get stuff for my kids.

I’m definitely not looking to steal taxpayer money to benefit my rich daughter or have the government seize houses from widows so I can build a limo parking lot for my casino. And I’m going have a little faith in humanity and assume that most of us wouldn’t do something like that just because might makes right and in the bizarro world of 2024 supposed “conservatives” support big government theft from individuals as long as it makes the rich richer or that not paying your bills and using the power of the government to steal from taxpayers makes you a “political outsider” and “good businessman.”

Right. Politicians never have children who "want stuff"

This post is so stupid that it has to be a bit.

this isn't that complicated people. No one, certainly not me has said that Favre didn't do anything wrong, I merely pointed out that the politicians that received bribes and gave out the money are certainly more guilty. No one was forced to give Favre money or in kind favor. No politician was forced to accept bribes or influence.
