I know I'm somewhat out of the loop these days when it comes to who draws and who doesn't. But how does Slash solo with these bands fill sheds? I'm just NOT seeing it:

Not sure what the capacities are in these "sheds"...but he's headlining Paris next month with Fatty Van Halen at the Zénith, capacity 6,804.

It's a blues festival, dude.

Gales, Kingfish, Haynes, etc?

Boomers will come flocking like moths to a flame.

Those aren't the BIG sheds. Chastain Park only holds about 7K. Atlanta also has Alpharetta at 12K, and Lakewood at 19K.

I could see Slash at least hitting half that with the right promotion.

Thanks for posting the details!

I will fly in to attend one or both WA shows (primarily because of Haynes) and then head into the Cascades.

They don't have to "fill" anything.

All the major tours are booked, now they just have to fill in the gaps in the schedule and keep the beer flowing.

I don’t even really listen to Blues but the first 2 names and at least 4 or 5 (Robert Randolph, who had a pretty big mainstream push at one point, for example) really pop out to me as “names” so I’m sure they draw for that genre.

I spent my childhood believing that's what pagan really stood for.

Anyway, I suspect this Slash tour will end up leaving both blues and rock fans unsatisfied. Half the audience will want to hear serious blues chops. The other half will want "Sweet Child O' Mine." They'll get neither.

Nobody wins.

Eric Gales is a damn good guitar player. Be worth it to see him.

I saw that movie in the theater. It was bad on so many levels that it still makes me shudder.

I think these are smaller venues than the Livenation sheds. Where he is playing in Boston is much smaller than the normal summer time shed venue.

I just saw Bret at Mohegan Sun which holds about 10K. I'd guess it was about 85-90% full. (maybe even more). I don't think very many people got in for free and there was no drink minimum.

I am not a huge Bret or Poison fan, so I'm not nut swinging.

Slash is the least interesting character on the bill but at least LA might have some interesting guests, assuming they aren't at the Stones show.

Slash could definitely get 6000 Stones fans at his show
Slash is playing near a park and place to look at the moon through telescope.
I would go just to see them leave stacked parking or walking down the hill in the dark 😂

Slash got the idea for the S.E.R.P.E.N.T. tour from Axl's O.P.O.S. philosophy. That stands for Only Play Old Songs.
