Studio project by Mel Galley's brother Tom. They had some amazing musicians on those albums. Glenn Hughes handled the vocals on the first album. Second one had a bunch of guest singers like Ray Gillen, John Wetton. Third album was pretty much 21 Guns with a different singer.
No really brilliant album but a few excellent songs on every one. Here's the only video they ever did, featuring John Wetton and Scott Gorham:

Had the first. Bought it because the old Black Sabbath vocalist and DP bassist sang on it.
No good songs.

Re: Phenomena - any fans?
Love the first two Phenomena albums. There are good songs here and there on the later ones too but rather unremarkable.
They were announced to play at Sweden Rock ten years ago but the festival chose to cancel as most "band members" that we know from the albums would not be appearing and there was even a dispute about the rights to the Phenomena name and concept. So Phenomena still hasn't played a single show.
Now, imagine a show focusing on the first two albums with Glenn Hughes, Neil Murray, Scott Gorham, Don Airey and Michael Sturgis.
Was more difficult than I thought to put together a line-up as many Phenomena contributors are now dead. Ted McKenna, John Wetton, Mel Galley, John Thomas, Cozy Powell, Toshi Niimi, Ray Gillen....

Is this thread about Phil Lynott’s mother?
