Current band Straight out of NWOBHM 78-82. DANAVA

Post by VinnieVincentsVag »

This is some pretty cool stuff.
Sounds like it could’ve come out around Iron Maiden’s debut/Killers.
Definitely a throwback to the twin harmony guitars of earlier Priest and Maiden.
Vocals are spotty sometimes.
At other times sounds like a young Ozzy.
Keyboards are a little heavy in a couple of tunes, but it has a classic sound of that era.
The only thing I didn’t like a song that sounded like Heaven & Hell.

Opinions?

Well, that was pretty cool. I would've guessed it came out in 1982.

Wow, was not expecting that, but yeah, it does sound like Killers era Maiden. Very cool stuff.

I like em.' Night Demon is my favorite of the new NWOBHM bands, but these guys sound pretty good.

Good tune, has kind of a Blitzkrieg/Helpless/Witchfinder General vibe. Could've easily been released in '82.It would be really cool if they recorded in analog too (they might, idk?) to really capture that classic sound.
*I kinda want a new screenname. Seriously. I barely watch racing anymore. :x

I just checked both out.

Venator was pretty cool, if their debut had a better mix I would hold them up to Night Demon. I dug them though.

Wytch Hazel  Cheeseball Christian rock. Metal without the devil sucks.
