And since you didn't ask, here is my stance: I don't give two fucks what someone's opinion is as long as they aren't trying to force me to conform to it. Religion? Believe what you want, but don't come shoving it down my throat. It isn't based on fact at all.

The caveats of extremists on both sides, forcing opinions on both sides are all implied.

I don't need to go on. I'm only drawing a distinction between where an opinion should land vs a fact.
