In 1991, he was headlining Rock In Rio, provided music for Terminator 2. By 1992 he was co-headlining a stadium tour with Metallica and he and his band were participating in the Freddie Mercury tribute concert. What was Ace doing? Playing clubs on the fumes of a four year old album.

I’m not sure I’ve ever heard the Seymour allegation before. But I was never the band’s number one fan. I do remember reading that both Axl and Erin Everly were psycho back in the day. They were obviously not good for each other. Both came from very dysfunctional, abusive families.

If Slash was in any other band than the most popular band of the time he’d have been a joke. He always sucked, especially live. We was always more worried about striking the right pose than hitting any of the right notes. We was worse than Ace and Page on their sloppiest days and wasn’t even old yet. And his solos always sound like he’s got a couple notes that in a different scale (not on purpose). His solos are largely forgettable unlike classic Ace.
