I am a solid 9.5. Job, side guitar biz, new amazing GF, it's all good. I guess always room for improvement so that is why not a solid 10

Got the basics (money, home, job, friends) and like them, but there are some other things that need to be fixed. A bit of a low point now, so 7.

Being forced into a life with hookers- stripclubs and topless maids is brutal
Never allowed to watch what I want always forced to watch that WWE thing
Having my 2 ex wife’s constantly bitching at me- 2
kids became two mostly horrible people
I f*cked up should have moved to Cleveland in 1997

Solid 8.5-9. Decent living, work from home, good family and social life, get to do my music and travel quite a bit.

1 point deducted each for having a lame sex life, a lame musical "career" and not being a multi-millionaire. Other than that, things are fine, I'm not a wage slave, and I lead a pretty carefree life.

That's exactly what I came here to post. If laglamrocker is the gold standard for a 10, I'm probably a 5. A 7 at best. I have my "10" days but I'm nowhere near as happy and content as he is.

Knocked off 2 points because I am constantly anxious about it being taken away (I rent a just about perfect place, to the point that if I lose it I am abandoning everything and leaving the state to some low COL area to wait to die) but I am constantly catastrophizing so it could also be a few points for not the best mental health.

Probably a 6. Daily struggles with burnout, uncertain professional horizon with AI taking over, battling serious anxiety, famly health problems and drama...the usual. Could be better, could be worse.

I have huge supply of Peruvian snow and it's on almost nightly

Just last night one of them shit on me while I was doing a huge gagger .

I need to look after my daughter and despite her mother speaking ill of me, she loves me. I'm a heroin addict and have no family. I don't steal, or drive under the influence. The house was 90% mine but I wanted my daughter to grow up there and left a lot of money there which she will inherit. Her mother is ungrateful and intent on desroying me and stealing my life. She has my furniture, my books, my art, and even dresses like me! She always said she was a jealous person.

I have a little house across town and a house in London after my Amazing Dad and I made some smart moves in the 90's with shares and property. So I can't complain. I have been lucky in many ways and made some bad mistakes.

I just wanna be a good Dad, but I feel so much hatred from health professionals, it makes you hate yourself.
At Xmas I was late to cllect my methadone to cover that period and this muslim pharmacist who always rude to me refused, telling me I could have collected all day. I was looking after my daughter because my sister in law was dying from cancer. The was open but she liked to collect before a certain time. She must know the patient would certainly re rather than go through during Xmas which is not only mean when you're trying to get clean but also very dangerous. This is how everyone dies including my school friend and myself. You have a break, your tolerance drops so fast, you cook up your normal dose and you drop dead. I once found a filter under the bed and cooked it up after a break and just that residue soaked in water and divided into 5 shots , just one almost put me to sleep! nevermind how much I take. So, it's either ignorance or evil hatred they have. I didn't even argue but the following day I heard I was banned from the place! The stigma is so bad.

So, my life is either going to end or i'll get clean. I don't know how and how do you do that when so many people are hating you. I would love to and enjoy the things I used to do.

I had a brain tumor removed in June. Doing chemo and radiation, probably for nothing.

Prior to that 10. Love my wife of 41 years. 5 awesome grandkids.

Now I feel like shit, and don't know if I will get to see them grow up.
