Carnell-Bixler was one of the women who accused That ’70s Show actor Danny Masterson of rape — he was found guilty last year, though not on her charge, specifically — and she and Bixler-Zavala also say Masterson and the church stalked, intimidated, and harassed them after making the allegations. I’m enough of a fan of the band to where I would’ve been cool with them doing what Pantera’s currently doing. For that to happen the remaining members who are still alive would have to be a part of it. This is icky/no sale.

Imagine being in charge of one of the most highly anticipated reunions ever, being able to choose LITERALLY ANY SINGER YOU WANT, and picking not just a Scientologist, but one that was going to involved in one of the bigger Scientologist related controversies of the last 10 years.

I have to admit: 24 years after their debut, the remaining members still look like their old selves.

Most hairband members looked like dogshit 20 years after their debut and were an embarrassment on (and off) stage.

Brad Delson is still in the band, apparently. He recorded his parts and was involved in the songwriting in the new album; he's just not interested in touring.

I don't know if most people care about any of the members other than Mike and Chester. Like Slash and Axl in GnR, Steven and Mike Pereira in Aerosmith or Keef and Mick in the Stones. Obviously Chester's vocal cords were damaged by that rope, so they had to get this chick, but to most fans it probably seems like the rest of the band is still the same. They see Mike up in there, they remember there was another Jap, so it checks out, and everything seems to be in order for them.

Bass player is still in the fold as well. Watching the initial clips, not having Chesters charisma on stage really exposes Shinoda as a relatively weak member despite his raps that are a huge part of their songs. Mike cannot sing. The other members are all and have been useless props on stage as this whole thing is tracked out by Joseph Hahn. I don’t hate the way the new song sounds, it sounds exactly like Linkin Park. It’s gonna take a while for people to get a grip as to what they are seeing and hearing and not having Chester on the stage signing songs that were about his personal life. Emily has a fuck ton of pressure on her. What’s wild is did the band even do any homework on this whole Scientology thing before auditioning her? Such a huge fuck up.

Just like the Oasis tour, a lot of suckers will be separated from their money.

Would it really be all that different from other bands ,that we shit on here for lip synching, if Chester's casket was on stage to recorded vocals?

He spoke about his surname in some interview, how his grandfather changed the Pereira name to Perry, in order to 'muricanize it, when he got off the boat. Steve Perry said the same. Kathy Perry, too. Seems like most Pereiras did that.

Pereira used to be a very common name among Portuguese Sephardic Jews who accepted our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ (and consequently saved their asses by the skin of their foreskins).

They are being ripped apart everywhere about this, Reddit, TikTok, X, you name it. Her IG apology is just damage control, and she was still following Danny Masterson on social media. Also, Scientologists doesn't believe in mental illness which is a nice slap in the face to Chester Bennington who struggled his whole life with it. LP's management, and the band, failed big time.

There's no way they didn't know beforehand. And now, they're already in it so deep with her they'd look like idiots kicking her out now, so they're stuck. It's only gonna get worse too seeing as Chester's son is chiming in and he's not having any of it and claims Mike has seemingly blocked him because he doesn't Ike what he has to say.

Way too old to 'get' Linkin Park, but of course I heard their singles plenty during their heyday. Checked out the clips with the new singer.

I know it's her first show, but it really doesn't work, does it? The vocal fry thing she does to imitate their original singer sounds really forced and weak.

Bennington was that band. The nostalgia will carry this first tour, but time will tell if people will pay to see this.

I would prefer the chick from Guano Apes or maybe Axl Rose but this Armstrong looney is ok in my book.
