Man, this band was really cooking live in the late 80’s, early 90’s. Great song. How many times did you see INXS max where did you see the, play?

Always hated them in HS, I think mainly cause I hated the people who liked them. Watched Rock star: INXS and realized, man... they have a lot of really good songs. Not gonna go through their catalogue, but they have a greatest hits that is incredibly solid.

Some of the live video from their prime is just bonkers how crazy the crowds were.

Who do I love more Duran Duran or INXS
Went to only chance I ever had June 1997 Greek Theatre
Just moved to So Cal few months before
Saw show in LA Weekly
Didn’t know much about buying tickets at venues. Scalper came up to me..got ticket for 250$
Felt good walked up to box office wasn’t soldout..same section for sale was around 60$

Never again scalper
Show was awesome glad I saw MTV icons
Few months later singer was gone
10/10 show
Kind of shocked I thought Greek would have been bigger

The Swing at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston.
Kick at the Centrum in Worcester Mass. An arena with PIL opening.
Welcome to Wherever You Are in Hollywood Florida. It was an arena, I just happened to be down there at the time.
The tour with JD Fortune after the TV show at a 1500 capacity club.
IIRC, none of the shows I saw were sold out.

Two. Opening for Adam Ant on their first US tour in 83 supporting Shabooh Shoobah at the Bronco Bowl. Five years later, I saw them on the Kick tour and they were headlining a show at Texas Stadium over GnR, Iggy Pop, Ziggy Marley, and the Smithereens.

Was supposed to see them in the 90s on the Full Moon, Dirty Hearts, but the show got moved/rescheduled and I couldn't go.

Once. Opening for Men At Work on the Cargo tour. Good opener. They did "The One Thing" and "Don't Change", but I can't remember the rest of the songs.

I think you're right, at least in North America. The show was in the summer of '83, and I don't think "Original Sin" had come out yet.

I thought EXACTLY the same way you did in your post … and then the show came out looking for a singer and again I thought exactly as you did about their music after seeing that RockStar INXS show …

We went with some friends after the show and saw them at the Chicago Theatre… it was a fun show !

They were known because the videos were on MTV in heavy rotation for a pretty long time. Like, they were on constantly. The One Thing is they are at a big banquet table with chicks & food & Don't Change is the lads in a "live" setting, meaning with their instruments, in a barn setting & they come in & out on the back of the truck.

Zero because I’m a moron. I had the opportunity to see them not once, but twice.

Saw them once, in 1986. They played a 3,000 seat theater at the local community college.

Great show.

This was EXACTLY what I would have posted if you hadn't beaten me to it!
