Regarding what POISON's tour in 2026 might look like, Bret said: "My feeling is 40 great, limited dates — 40 great, limited dates. Make them incredible. It'll be four years since the last time we toured on 'The Stadium Tour' in '22. If we go out in '26, it'll be our 40th-anniversary Parti-Gras 4.0. And there's four bandmembers — all original. Good, bad or indifferent, we are like a band of brothers. We also love each other."
Nice catch. Whatever he's planning for 2025 (his "year off") will surely be 3.0, and then he's apparently going to use Poison as a mule in '26 to further establish his solo tour brand. It'll do well, and then he'll get inflated offers for 5.0 in '27, which will feature his lame solo band and C-listers and do far worse business... which will in turn inspire him to go back to the well with Poison for an "Open Up..." 40th tour in '28.
I remember Ozzfest 97, where Ozzy opened up for Black Sabbath, who headlined.
I think Bert should do the same thing. He could play a set before Poison.
And since they'd be the identical 50 min sets, people could go home after Bert solo, leading promoters to conclude Bert is even bigger than Poison, and up his guarantee.

You can tell Sleek had nothing to do with this…thats why it’s so entertaining
He's billed above every single artist of the era, including Vince Neil, who will double-bill (support) Bret tomorrow night in So. Calif..
I don't blame him for wanting the bigger cut either when Poison tours either, he deserves it, as he puts in 5-10x (or more) of the work.
While Bobby and C.C. are living their life, doing what they do... Bret is living, breathing and playing Rn'R, non-stop year round and has consistently.
He's also built up his team, social media networks and the various online platforms, endorsements and his direct involvement from shows, to doing the press, interviews and podcasts, movies, docs, commercials, etc...
What have you seen, or heard, from Bobby Dall or C.C. DeVille over the last 20-25 years, outside of the occasional Poison tours? I'll wait...
Tom Keifer has basically done the same, stepping away from Cinderella, where part of the band was struggling with 'personal' issues, sadly, and he eventually said "No more" and went solo.
I can tell you right here, doing my shows solo, on my own, with other guys in other countries, is MUCH easier, than doing dates with Tuff, where I have to wrangle up 4 guys, and have all of them approve a schedule, this weekend works, that weekend doesn't, wives, kids, other jobs, other bands, sort '4' flights instead of 1, book multiple hotels instead of 1, this person's wants or needs, and then having to do it all, for 4 people, instead of just me!
I don't blame the guy for a second... good for him!
This is also why, Skid Row do NOT want to reunite with Bach... and if you ask "Why not", go listen to Nuno's story in Episode #3, of the new docuseries.
That is a new one, I have never heard, and it's mind-boggling x100! And then Nuno telling what the Skid Row guys said when it happened, was just more of the same.
While this was 25 years earlier... Bach has not changed... he just hasn't. They know, if they agree to it, they will be regretting it before the first show!
