...which is to say, whereas the cancer itself might not make you fat, you are certainly not going to feel much like working out if you are doing chemo or radiotherapy...and also if you are fighting some literal potential life-ending thing, you are likely to go: "What's the fucking point of eating well and working out. There is a weird expectation that a model, rock star, actor, or celebrity will always be at the top of whatever game made them famous (looks, voice, skills), and with someone who has not been in the spotlight much for decades, it is more shocking. That's what I was getting at with my original post. Do women (or men) let themselves go when the camera is off? Do they just give up? I'm assuming yes.

Most try to stay in shape and at the top of their game before a tour. Then they kick back a little post tour.

I've even seen photos of guys like Stallone chilling out smoking a cigar. I doubt he was doing much cigar smoking in the 80's.

Maybe THAT'S why famous people look better than non-famous people. I know if I had a camera following me around everywhere I went and got on stage in front of 20,000 people a night, I would put more effort into my appearance.
