Looks like they figured out there aren't enough Metallica fans with OCD to automatically double the draw in every city just because they change the setlist.

And a stadium show in Blacksburg, VA WTF. That's near Roanoke which stopped getting rock bands in the arena because none of them could sell enough tickets.

Since 2000 the Virginia Tech Hokies football team have used Enter Sandman as their entrance music while taking the field. It's become quite the tradition there.

I'm assuming that the connection the team/stadium has to the band will help move tickets. It'll be well attended by the student body of Virgina Tech, no doubt.

YES! No idea. But that's the thing people don't get when asking how can **** play a stadium is half the tickets are being sold to people who only go to events at that stadium.

I’m glad they replaced Five Finger Death Punch with Limp Bizkit.

I will never forget how Limp Bizkit lit up the LA Coliseum in 2003, being the last band on before Metallica on that year’s Summer Sanitarium. They came out to a wave of boos, but by the end of the set the crowd was eating it up.

Hate Limp Bizkit all you want, they absolutely deliver live.

I'm not a big fan or anything, but their performance at Woodstock '99 was outstanding.

You are absolutely right...they do deliver live.

Does the stadium have a roof?

I showed up to Sofi on Aug 24th for the show on the 23rd and still heard the show bouncing around the stadium.

I would much prefer to see Limpbizkit instead of Metallica. I don't think you could pay me to go to see Metallica

Wish I could have seen them when they were young, full of piss and vinegar and KILLING POSERS!!!

I was a little too young, first show I could have caught was on the Black Album tour.

I saw both nights in LA, thought I had good seats but NOOO, the 'in the round' deal SUCKED, they were literally on the other side of the stadium with their backs to me a majority of the time, like I was behind the stage but 1000 times worse. I am not alone with this from online comments.

The 2nd night I cut my losses and got floor tickets, it was SO much better, night and day, had a seriously good time!!!

Highly recommend to get floor tix, and just one night (suicidal/pantera of course)

First saw them at Family Values in ‘98 when I was 15. Saw them the next year a week before Significant Other came out. Most recently saw them last month. Probably half dozen times in between. How about you ODB? When did you first jump on the Bizkitwagon? :D

They were one of my favourite bands when I was 16/17. Significant Other was a game changer for me. And it was a fun time when their third album was everywhere.

I haven't seem them live so I probably should check them out at some point.

One thing I'll say about them, and maybe it'll change when they're opening, but on the Loserville tour this year, they were playing different songs every night. Seems like hardly anyone does that these days, with the exception of Metallica themselves.
