Not a well known name, but Freddie was a guitarist (and singer) first with southern rock band Outlaws and later solo and with hard rock band The Godz. Both good guitarist and singer.

Saw him quite a few times with The Godz. RIP

Underrated, energetic player with the Outlaws. Decent singer too, for the material. He played on some real good albums of theirs including the classic Bring It Back Alive. Also on their Live at Rockpalast '81 disc (talk about some coke or booze or both energy at THAT show.) Some good songs on his solo album Cat Dance, too. RIP.
*I kinda want a new screenname. Seriously. I barely watch racing anymore.

I liked his solo record too. There's also a version of Long Gone by Outlaws.RaceFan3 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 24, 2024 3:57 pm Underrated, energetic player with the Outlaws. On The Godz record I'll Get You Rockin', there's a song called Hey You, which is also on Outlaws' Soldier Of Fortune as Racin' For The Red Light. Some recycling there.
