Oh no! Goddamn it! Doug is a great guy (and amazing player). Why is it always the good people that this shit happens to? Watch any interview with Doug and you will not find a nicer gentleman in the business. I really hope he can beat this. Hang in there buddy. Fuck cancer!

Looks like he beat it...for now.
He did the European tour with DD this spring and looks like he's doing great.

If you want to read some crazy shit…..check out Chris McLenen formerly Cold Gin, Saigon Kick,etc. He’s got Parkinson’s and now throat cancer and has been posting about it….its pretty nuts!
