Prince or Jermaine Stewart?

It is time to settle this for good.
Prince and Jermaine Stewart. Both were "light black" artists and nowdays dead. A couple of hits here and there while there were some misses too.
While Prince had "Purple Rain" and "When Doves Cry", Jermaine had "Get Lucky" and "We Don't Have To Take Our Clothes Off".
Of course these are only light examples of their careers.
In the end it is the matter of taste. So who do you think was better of these two?

Prince was like a mad scientist with his vault. For every creation that was on the radio, he created 50 that sucked but recorded anyway and tossed in the vault.
