Fuck can Schon play. That outro solo to Whos Crying Now was fucking epic.

Arnel's voice can't handle doing these songs on tour anymore - he's doing crazy vowel modification and still cant hit the notes. He had a great 15+ year run, but he's done.

Will be interesting to see what they do - It's anybody's guess what would happen to their draw without him, but soon enough he's going to start hurting the brand as a product if he keeps having bad shows.

I don't think Schon and Cain and afford to stop touring, frankly.

Saw them 2022 in Ottawa. Pretty sure every Filipino in the city was there...and man did they have fun.

Definitely Arnel shreds his voice within the first two songs in the set. In the grand scheme of things, it means nothing as this tour band in the show are all about Neil and his guitar abilities. Rest for sure the San Francisco show he was going to go full tilt and deservedly so. I can’t see the band replacing Arnel, the band is playing stadiums right now for maximum pay. Hire another guy and go play mid-level Arena’s? I don’t see this happening.

Given the wear and tear on his voice over the years, that really wasn’t THAT bad. No where near as bad as some are saying. I skipped through some songs so didn’t hear every note sung so maybe I missed it. Sure he’s having some issues and modifying some things, but no where near ‘terrible’.

Anal sounds okay first song but devolves into 2017 Paul Stanley by the second song.

Cain looks like a bewildered old man and his jacket looks like a 1978 kitchen.

Schon is holding his midriff in with a girdle and looks like he’s been preserved.

I doubt the keyboard player (who is really an emergency backup singer) is even plugged in.

Paul Stanley wished he sounded that good in 2017.

I don't see what the big deal is. Arnel sounds fine. He's not perfect but he's not as bad as Paul Stanley, Vince Neil, Jon Bon Jovi, Axl Rose, David Lee Roth, Don Dokken, Stephen Pearcy, Dave Mustaine, etc, ended up sounding as they got older. He sounds better than 90% of the bands discussed on this board.
